Faculty members and students from the Department of Physiotherapy actively participated in the Neuro Revive Conference 2026 held at HIMS Varanasi on 15 March 2026, showcasing academic excellence and professional engagement at a national platform. A total of 56 students represented the institution, reflecting enthusiastic participation and commitment to learning.
The conference brought significant recognition to the department. Prof. (Dr.) Deptee Warikoo (HOD) served as a Chairperson and was honored with the Outstanding Women Educator Award, while Dr. Keerty Mathur received the Significant Contribution Award. Dr. Chaitanya K. Tamang was conferred with the Early Career Physiotherapy Educator Award for his commendable contributions.
Faculty members also played key academic roles during the conference. Dr. Akanksha Kulvanshi and Dr. Nitin Bhardwaj served as judges in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate scientific paper presentation categories, respectively. Adding to the achievements, Dr. Deepak Yadav presented a scientific paper only and secured First Position in the Professional Category, bringing laurels to the institution.
Among the students, Digvijay, a physiotherapy undergraduate, achieved Third Position in the UG Category for paper presentation, marking a proud moment for the department.
The participation and achievements at the conference highlighted the department’s dedication towards academic excellence, research involvement, and professional development, further strengthening its reputation at national forums.
