Student Conduct and Discipline:
- Upon admission, all students are subject to the institute’s disciplinary code. This code outlines expected behavior and outlines consequences for violations.
- The Principal holds the ultimate authority to implement and enforce these regulations and expects full student compliance.
- The Principal may enforce the code directly or delegate authority to a designated disciplinary action committee.
- A formal disciplinary committee, chaired by the Principal with additional members, exists to address student conduct issues. Any decisions regarding student misconduct made by this committee are final and binding.
Attendance:
- All students are obligated to fulfill the minimum attendance requirements established by the affiliating university, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar.
- Absence from lectures is prohibited without prior written approval from the designated authority, as officially communicated.
- Unauthorized absences exceeding four consecutive days may result in admission cancellation.
Dress Code and Identification:
- Wearing the prescribed institute uniform and carrying a valid student ID card is mandatory.
- Access to the campus without proper attire or identification will be denied.
Anti-Ragging Policy:
- Ragging is strictly prohibited within the institute premises, all dormitories, public transportation vehicles, and student residences outside the institute.
- Any student found engaging in ragging will face immediate rustication from the institute. Additionally, the matter will be reported to the police for legal action as per applicable laws.
