Physiotherapy Services at 2nd Junior National Pittu Championship

The 2nd  Junior National   Pittu Championship, held from June 18 to 20, concluded with great enthusiasm and participation at the Kanchenjunga Hall, Rajat Jayanti Sports Complex in Raipur, Dehradun. The event, organized by the Uttarakhand Pittu Association, brought together young athletes from across the country to compete in this traditional Indian sport.

This year’s championship received notable institutional support. Dolphin (PG) Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences, Dehradun, played a key role in the smooth conduct of the event.  4th year BPT students  namely Mr. Saksham Kothari, Mr.  Digvijay Singh, Ms. Gopisha  volunteered their services, providing essential physiotherapy care for injury management and on-site assistance to the players to ensure their peak performance throughout the tournament.

In recognition of their valuable contribution, the organizing committee felicitated the student physiotherapy team and Dolphin Institute with certificates of appreciation and mementos during the closing ceremony. The gesture was a mark of gratitude for their dedication and professional support, which played a crucial role in the well-being of the athletes.
