The Department of Physiotherapy, Dolphin PG Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences, Dehradun, actively participated in the 4th M.S. Kunwar Memorial Uttarakhand State Open Tennis Tournament 2025 held at the Sports Complex, Parade Ground, Dehradun, on August 30 and 31. Organized by the Devbhoomi Sports Welfare Foundation Society, the two-day state-level tournament brought together athletes from across Uttarakhand for a display of skill, endurance, and sportsmanship. As part of their academic and clinical exposure, six students from the Department of Physiotherapy — including both BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) and MPT (Master of Physiotherapy) programs — were posted at the event. The students provided on-ground physiotherapy support, including injury management, warm-up and cool-down sessions, and athlete rehabilitation advice. The initiative not only contributed to the success and smooth conduct of the tournament but also offered valuable hands-on experience to the students, enhancing their clinical and sports-related skills under real-time conditions. The Department of Physiotherapy at Dolphin PG Institute continues to promote practical learning and community engagement through active participation in such prestigious events. —
