Dolphin (PG) Institute of Biomedical & Natural Sciences has a rich and impressive legacy of 23 years in academic excellence.

Since its inception in 2002, this institute, which started out as an incredible yet inconceivable dream, has now blossomed in a topmost ever-evolving higher education platform for youth-force across the nation. Nestled in the serenity of forests, our campus is located in the green & calm suburbs of Dehradun (Uttarakhand) – a tranquil city reputed for being a national education hub. Amongst a bevy of excellent schools and HEIs, Dolphin (PG) Institute stands out as one of the best in academic fields of biomedical and natural sciences. Imparting top quality education by qualified faculty with calm efficiency beyond just classrooms, for a student’s holistic growth has always been the guiding principle of our college.  We are proud and blessed to claim that we do better by that principle each and every year, with endlessly expanding horizons.

Our most recent accomplishments came in early 2024 – the institute was granted Autonomous Status by UGC and its parent university HNBGU and has now fully implemented NEP 2020 – providing our students with the best academic and vocational opportunities.

What started out as 80 students taught by 8 professors in just 4 UG programmes (Forestry, Medical Microbiology, Physiotherapy and MLT) is today an organization of over 100 expert faculty members for 40+ UG & PG programmes, a diverse student body and a 10,000+ alumni network spread throughout the globe featuring 60+ smart classrooms, 30+ state-of-art labs, advanced research facilities and a vast automated library. This exceptional journey has no ending in sight as we will keep expanding our already excellent infrastructure (grade A/score 3.24 by NAAC) and academic scope for newer opportunities and additional facilities for all our current and future students.

Students are the heart of our operation here at DIBNS. We take a student-centric approach to the teaching-learning process with a conducive, ICT enabled environment (grade A/score 3.09 by NAAC) completely free of ragging, sexual harassment, gender discrimination. Our students also get extensive exposure to extracurricular and co-curricular activities organized by Dolphin Students’ Welfare Club (DSWC). Our placement cell and network of 250+ reputed recruiters boast a consistently amazing placement record. We also take pride in our continuous efforts to be disability friendly, proactive about mental health support and outreach events organization – along with free OPDs, diagnostic labs, 24×7 ambulance services for further student and society welfare. With time we have moved towards being a green eco-friendly campus with solar energy generation, reforestation efforts and zero use of one-time plastic within campus premises.

We look back at our progress with happiness, satisfaction and determination as we prepare for the future with renewed vigor to set even greater standards for ourselves to see through the promise of Honours Beyond Education.
