DIBNS Showcase its Research at Indian international science festival (IISF)2025: We are delighted to share that Mr. Kalpesh Tandel, PG student of the Department of Physics, Dolphin PG Institute (Autonomous), Dehradun, proudly presented Department research work at the India International Science Festival (IISF) 2025, Panchkula, Haryana on 7th December 2025. His presentation focused on our AI-Driven Cognitive Model for Wood Material Classification of Himalayan Timber Species, an impactful research initiative aimed at strengthening forest governance, supporting biodiversity conservation, preventing illegal timber trade, and promoting a sustainable green economy in Uttarakhand. This achievement reflects our institute’s strong commitment to providing meaningful research exposure to students, encouraging innovation linked with regional priorities, and contributing scientific solutions for environmental challenges.
