Dolphin PG Institute Celebrates International Day of Yoga with Active Community Participation

Dehradun, June 21, 2026: The International Day of Yoga was celebrated with great enthusiasm and active community participation at Dolphin (PG) Institute of Biomedical & Natural Sciences. The event brought together students, faculty members, staff, and residents from nearby villages, reinforcing the importance of yoga in promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Villagers from Bhauwala, Naugawan, Manduwala, Badowala, and Nahad enthusiastically participated in the yoga session, making the celebration a true community-driven initiative. The programme was further enriched by the presence of the Gram Pradhans of Manduwala and Badowala, whose support highlighted the growing awareness of health and wellness at the grassroots level.

The yoga session was conducted under the expert guidance of Yoga Guru Shri Acharya Shubham Saini, who led participants through various yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques. His insightful guidance helped participants understand the significance of incorporating yoga into their daily lives for improved physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Organized under the global theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” the event emphasized the role of yoga in enhancing physical fitness, mental wellness, and overall quality of life for individuals across all age groups.

On the occasion, Mr. Vipul Garg addressed the gathering and delivered an inspiring speech on the importance of yoga in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
