International Yoga Day Celebration at Dolphin (PG) Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences

The Dolphin (PG) Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences in Manduwala, Dehradun, actively participated in the global celebration of International Yoga Day on June 21, 2023. Welcome Address

The event commenced with a warm welcome delivered by Sh. Vipul Garg. He expressed his gratitude to all participants and guests for their presence. Sh. Yoga Session by Ms. Kiran Chaudhary

Following the welcome address, Ms. Kiran Chaudhary, a seasoned yoga trainer, took center stage.  She provided valuable insights into various yoga forms and their associated benefits. Ms. Chaudhary emphasized the importance of correct posture and breathing techniques while performing yoga asanas (postures).  She then guided the students through a series of yoga poses, allowing them to experience the physical and mental harmony that yoga brings.

Student Participation

The participating students actively engaged in practicing the different yoga forms demonstrated by Ms. Chaudhary.  From traditional asanas to dynamic flows, the students experienced a holistic approach to yoga, focusing on flexibility, strength, and mindfulness.

Faculty and Staff Support

The teaching and non-teaching staff members were present throughout the event, demonstrating their support for the promotion of yoga among students.  Their presence added a sense of prestige and provided encouragement to the participants.
