The NEP cell of the Dolphin PG Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences (DIBNS) successfully organized the NEP Quiz 2025 on 15th February 2025. The event was led by NEP Saarthi members—Kalpesh Tandel, Ashi Khandelwal, Aryan Giri, and Kavita Nayal—under the guidance of NEP Coordinator, Dr. Aasheesh Raturi. The quiz aimed to increase awareness about NEP 2020, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), general awareness, and current affairs among students. A total OF Seven departmental teams participated in the event namely OTT, MRIT, G Microbiology, Forestry, EDUCATION., Physics, and MLT.
The competition had five rounds: a Qualification Round, an MCQ Round, a Picture-Based Round, an Audio-Based Round, and a Rapid-Fire Round with a multitasking challenge. Each round tested the students’ knowledge, speed, and decision-making skills. After an exciting contest, Team BMRIT won 1st place, followed by OTT Team in 2nd place, and l Microbiology Team in 3rd place. The event was attended by the esteemed faculty members Prof. Gyanendra Awasthi (Dean of Academics), Prof. Varsha Parcha, Dr. Shruti Sharma (IQAC Coordinator), and Dr. Aasheesh Raturi (NEP Coordinator). They encouraged students to keep learning and participate in such activities to improve their knowledge. Dolphin PG Institute is committed to implementing NEP 2020 across all disciplines, ensuring students get the best academic and career opportunities. Through events like the NEP Quiz, the institute promotes interactive learning, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary education, as recommended by the policy. At the end of the event, the winning teams were awarded prizes to recognize their efforts and enthusiasm. The quiz was a great success, making learning fun and engaging for everyone involved.
