Department of Physiotherapy provided physiotherapy services at Ultra Run Marathon, on 09th March 2025. The event was an initiative by Thrill Zone. Physiotherapy team included Dr Shaili Rawat, Dr Diksha Bhatt, Dr. Rupali Gurung and Dr. Chaitanya K Tamang, along with BPT students of the Department. Total 28 volunteers were there for their service at the marathon .
The Physiotherapy services were provided at 8 distinct points for all the runners from 4 AM till 4 PM. Marathon was started from JSR Inn, Kimadi and ended at Hathipaon Mussoorie. The Physiotherapy team provided the services to the runners with full enthusiasm throughout the route. In addition to stretches and warm up and cool down exercises, first aid was also provided at all physiotherapy points. More than 250 runners were benefited by the Physiotherapy team. The team was appreciated by the participants and the organizers and was felicitated with momento and certificate for the voluntary services.
