Independence Day was celebrated with great pride, enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at Dolphin P.G. Institute of Biomedical & Natural Sciences, Dehradun on 15th August 2026.
The celebrations commenced with the recitation of the National Song, followed by the flag-hoisting ceremony and singing of the National Anthem. The Chairman, Sh. Arvind Gupta, addressed the gathering and extended warm wishes to everyone on the occasion. In his address, he highlighted the significance of Independence Day and urged the students to uphold the values of patriotism, responsibility and service to the nation.
The programme also featured an impressive NCC march-past and Guard of Honour, reflecting discipline, dedication and national spirit. Students presented a vibrant array of cultural performances, adding colour and enthusiasm to the celebrations.
The event was attended by students, faculty members and staff, who participated enthusiastically in the celebrations and expressed their patriotic spirit.
The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets, leaving everyone with a strong sense of pride and togetherness. The celebrations served as a meaningful reminder of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the responsibilities of every citizen towards the nation.
