DIBNS-Industry Interface Cell and Department of Microbiology, Dolphin
(PG) Institute of Biomedical & Natural Sciences organized an industrial
tour for the students to ‘India Glycols Ltd.’ Selaqui, Dehradun, on
22.10.2024. A total of 87 students of BSc Microbiology, BSc Medical
Microbiology & MSc Microbiology were accompanied with Dr. Ashok
Kumar Singh (Associate Professor and Head) and Mr. Vijay Tiwari
(Tutor, department of Microbiology). The students got acquainted with
production, quality control and quality assurances of the pharmaceutical
industry. The students got an opportunity to observe large scale
fermenters which are used for production of industrial products. Dolphin
Institute regularly organizes industrial tours as a part of academic
curriculum for the students of the Graduate and Post-graduate courses.
These industry-academic interactions helps the students to network with
the professionals and explore potential job opportunities.
