Dolphin P.G. Institute of Biomedical & Natural Sciences organised a three-day Deeksharambh programme from 17th to 19th August 2026 to warmly welcome newly admitted students and familiarise them with the academic, administrative and co-curricular environment of the Institute.
The first day focused on department-level induction, where students were introduced to their respective departments, faculty members, academic structure, programmes and departmental practices. The sessions helped students gain a better understanding of their new academic environment and settle into campus life.
The second day was dedicated to creating awareness among students about the various facilities and support services available at the Institute. Students were familiarised with the campus infrastructure, student support facilities and other resources that contribute to a fulfilling academic experience.
The third day featured the institutional-level Deeksharambh programme. The Principal, Dr. Shailja Pant addressed the students and provided an overview of the Institute, covering important aspects of academics, discipline, student support, co-curricular activities, institutional values and expectations. The Directors Admin, Sh. V.K. Nagpal also interacted with the students and apprised them of important administrative processes and facilities.
The newly admitted students were introduced to the Institute’s key position holders, namely Additional Director Admin, Sh. S.K. Kaul, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Shruti Sharma, Dean Academics Dr. Gyanendra Awasthi, Dean Research Dr. Versha Parcha, NEP Coordinator Dr. Aasheesh Ratuti, Controller of Examination Sh. Mor Singh Rawat, Accounts Officers Sh. Ganesh Tiwari and Sh. Aman Pandit, Sr. Admin. Officer Sh. Sudhir Bharti enabling them to know whom to approach for academic, administrative and student-related matters. The programme also featured vibrant cultural performances by students, adding enthusiasm and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Students were further introduced to the various clubs and student activities available at the Institute, providing them with opportunities to explore their interests, develop skills and participate actively in campus life. The second half of the day was dedicated to the registration of newly admitted students in various clubs, encouraging them to become an integral part of the Institute’s vibrant co-curricular community.
The three-day Deeksharambh programme provided the new students with a comprehensive introduction to the Institute and marked the beginning of their academic journey in an atmosphere of learning, interaction, participation and belonging.
