The Department of Physiotherapy organized a free physiotherapy camp at Kotra Kalyanpur on 29th September 2026, on the occasion of World Heart Day.
The camp was conducted with the aim of promoting awareness about cardiovascular health and highlighting the role of physiotherapy, physical activity, and healthy lifestyle practices in maintaining heart health.
Dr. Deepak Yadav and Dr. Nitish Rana, along with physiotherapy students, actively participated in the camp and provided physiotherapy services to the local community. The team conducted assessments and provided appropriate physiotherapy guidance and interventions based on the needs of the participants.
More than 20 patients benefited from the camp and received free physiotherapy services and health-related guidance.
The initiative provided students with valuable exposure to community-based physiotherapy practice while contributing towards health promotion, preventive care, and community well-being.
The successful organization of the camp reflects the Department of Physiotherapy’s commitment to community outreach, preventive healthcare, and accessible physiotherapy services.
